An original idea of marring two very different mediums together created a unique artwork.  Together fused glass and acrylic painting are arranged to become partners, one the focal point and the other the background.  Each painting starts on a wooden canvas with acrylic paint along with some modeling paste to add textures.  A focal point of fused glass is hand cut from scraps, screen melts, glass bars and more.  Once the two are completed they really make a wonderful presentation of color and texture.
